Who we are

WeDX Digital Twins Solutions is operated by Motojin Investment, Inc., a company based in Hawaiʻi, United States. Motojin Investment, Inc. is the controller of the personal data described here.

You can reach us through the contact form on this site. If you need our postal address or the details of a specific service provider, ask through that form and we will provide them.

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form we collect what you enter: your name, business email address, organization, area of interest and message, together with any of the optional fields you choose to complete.

We record that you agreed to this policy, when you agreed, and which version of this policy you agreed to. We also record which language version of the form you used, so that we reply in the language you wrote in.

We do not create an account for you, we never ask you for a password, and we do not collect payment details anywhere on this site.

What we do not collect

We do not store your IP address with your enquiry. Our abuse protection counts requests per source in memory and forgets them; nothing identifying the sender is written to the database.

We do not buy personal data, we do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

Why we collect it, and on what basis

To answer your enquiry and to continue the conversation you started. That is the only purpose.

Where consent is the basis we rely on - the enquiry itself, and analytics - you give it explicitly and you can withdraw it. Where we rely on a legitimate interest, it is the narrow one of running a working contact channel and keeping it free of abuse.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for 730 days from the day we receive it, after which it is deleted.

This is the period the service itself applies; it is a description of what happens rather than a statement of intent. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will.

Proposal demos

If we have invited your company to view a proposal demo, we give you an invitation code. When the code is used we record which invitation it belongs to, when it was used, how often the demo was opened, and when the consultation booking button was selected.

To protect the demo from misuse, we record the IP address, the browser identification (User-Agent) and the page requested on each access and on each refused attempt. These are kept for 90 days and then deleted; the service itself applies this period.

The invitation record - your company name and the history above - is deleted 730 days after the invitation ends. The code itself is never stored in readable form. The demo sets one cookie, which is strictly necessary to keep you signed in to it and expires within a day.

Booking a consultation takes you to Microsoft Bookings. What you enter there is collected by Microsoft Bookings on our behalf and reaches us through it. This site records only that the button was selected, never what you booked.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and links lead to enquiries. It is the only analytics or tracking service on the site.

Nothing is loaded and no cookie is set until you accept. If you decline, or if you have not answered yet, no analytics script is requested and no analytics cookie exists. You can change your decision at any time, and declining later stops further collection.

When you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser - typically named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier - which distinguish one browser from another for up to two years. We enable IP anonymisation, we do not enable advertising features, and we do not send anything you typed into the enquiry form to Google.

Your consent decision itself is kept in your browser local storage rather than in a cookie, and never leaves your device.

Who else processes it

Your enquiry reaches the people at Motojin Investment who will answer it. Beyond them it is handled by service providers acting on our instructions: cloud hosting and a managed database that store the site and the enquiry, an email provider that delivers the notification, and Google as the analytics provider described above.

These providers process data in the United States, and your enquiry may be stored and processed there. If you are writing from outside the United States, please treat that as the case.

We do not name each provider on this page, because the list changes as infrastructure does and a stale list is worse than none. Ask through the contact form and we will tell you who they currently are.

Security

Connections to this site and to our database are encrypted. Enquiry content is kept out of our application logs. Access to stored enquiries is limited to the people who answer them.

No system is beyond compromise. If a breach affects your data and the law requires us to tell you, we will tell you.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it before the retention period ends, or ask for a copy of it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to a supervisory authority.

Use the contact form to make any of these requests. We aim to respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

We may need to confirm that a request comes from the person who sent the enquiry, normally by replying to the email address on it.

Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us an enquiry, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we change its version, shown at the top of this page. The version you agreed to is stored with your enquiry, so it is always possible to establish what you were told at the time.

We will not apply a materially different use to data you have already given us without asking you again.
